Things to do
Nestled in the beautiful Teme Valley the Castle Inn lies on the border of Powys in Wales and Shropshire in England. A stunning stone viaduct lies at the heart of the village and we are only a short distance from Offa’s Dyke and Glyndwr’s Way.

This is a fantastic area for walking (Offa’s Dyke Path), sightseeing, country sports and outdoor activities, such as: cycling and rally driving at the Phil Price Rally School. There are a number of local attractions and events that take place throughout the year. Knucklas is situated on the Heart of Wales railway line, which is very picturesque, and links Knucklas to the south coast of Wales as well as to Shrewsbury in Shropshire. Many guests stay with us whilst visiting attractions of the area or whilst attending The Royal Welsh Show.
Knucklas and the surrounding area is full of hidden gems: places to go and things to see without the hustle and bustle of queues and crowds. Why not visit the traditional market towns of Knighton, Presteigne and Ludlow or visitor attractions such as the Phil Price Rally School, Elan Valley or Stokesay Castle.
